Heros League: Championship

Congratulations to the MR. BOH Lacrosse Hero's Lacrosse Summer League masters team, which won the 2011 championship after a great game versus Geezers/Buck Bomb at Navy Marine Corps Memorial Stadium.

We were truly honored and fortunate to have the opportunity to play at such a renowned venue. With temperatures about 110 on the field, several players' cleats delaminated from the intense heat!
In a surprisingly fast-paced game, Geezers scored the first goal, but BOH went on a 5-goal run to finish the first half with a commanding lead.

We came out strong at the start of the second, but overconfidence led to turnovers. Geezers rallied within 2, until we drew a slide and dumped for a 7-4 lead. In the final 5 minutes, the up-and-down game continued as the Geezers drove hard to the goal on every possession, scoring 2 quick goals on unsettled situations. BOH got a much-needed turnover and possessed the ball to win the game by a score of 8-7.
